Dolomitic limestone is used to raise the pH of your lawn's soil. Over time, your soils can become acidic due to a build up of organic material which lowers the pH. Most plants grow best between a pH of 6.0-7.5. Dolomite limestone also contains Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg) which are essential macronutrients for healthy plants.
